Granted, strategies conflicts inside the Vietnamese government and some religious leaders who get involved with politics. I'm not sure the info on these conflicts but I'd venture point out they involve only somewhat minority of religious citizens. In the past, certainly there is severe religious persecution in Vietnam, but things have changed plenty. The official government line is that religion is free and available for all, plus i haven't seen anything different.
